MIDI Master
MIDI Master allows the user to divide and recombine inputs to create customised virtual instruments by remapping incoming MIDI and DirectInput events from devices (and other plugins) to outputs defined by the user - notes and controls can be redefined or transposed, existing instruments can be split into multiple virtual instruments, or combined into one big one.
A detailed mapping interface allows the user to completely customise their MIDI outputs. Input devices can be mixed and matched - there's no reason why you can't add a game controller to a MIDI keyboard to gain some extra buttons and axes!
MIDI Master is a VST 2.4 plugin, compatible with any host capable of MIDI routing running under Windows XP 32bit or above.
MIDI Master is an entry in Developer Challenge 2012, and is scheduled for release in October, 2012. Features are indicative of planned development, and may or may not make it into the final product.
