Welcome to the first in a series of tutorials on how to get Armchair Guitarist to work in your DAW! These are to supplement the main tutorial on how to use Armchair Guitarist in Reaper - the technique is slightly different from host to host, so it's worth doing tutorials for a variety of them. In all cases I'll be basing the tutorial on the demo version of the software, unless I can legally get my hands on a full version.
In the first of these, I'll discuss how to set up Armchair Guitarist to work in Ableton Live. the specific version I'm using here is Ableton Live Intro 8.0.9. I've tried a few versions of Ableton, and the process described below is pretty much the same in all of them.
The following steps will get you up and running in no time. After this tutorial, continue on with Lesson 2: The Controller.

That's all you need to do! You can now play Armchair Guitarist as normal. Go back to the other tutorials for further instructions!
